This verdant 56-acre North Toronto site housed both an existing catholic convent and a girls’ high school, in approximately 375,000 sf of building space. A phased Master Plan was developed to convert the full site to a new home and campus for Tyndale University College & Seminary. The University expansion plan updates the existing 55-year-old facility to meet the needs of a 21st century post-secondary educational facility. Included are a new state-of-the-art auditorium, athletic facility, and teaching and studying facilities, as well as associated support spaces. The first phase is complete with the major re-purposing of the space and infrastructure of this elegant mid-20th Century complex.
